    The role

     

    Create learning framework for Sales team

    • Design the Sales L&D framework with learning paths per role and level;
    • Contribute to strategies to drive a learning culture.

    Identify skill gaps and learning needs

    • Identify and assess future and current skill gaps and learning needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals, consultation with line managers and representatives of the target groups;
    • Contribute to the process of capturing learning needs, through leveraging technology.

    Create content & delivery engaging & scalable learning experiences

    • Build global training concepts and detailed learning content with subject matter experts
    • Design and delivery of train the trainer sessions;
    • Support Subject Matter Experts to design and deliver engaging and scalable learning experiences;
    • Design and deploy learning programs to offer a wide variety of learning opportunities;
    • Provide opportunities for ongoing development and empowering employees to take ownership of their own development;
    • Deliver on-demand continuous (technology) training;
    • Identify and define success stories of effective learning & reskilling;
    • Evangelize innovative new learning opportunities within the company;

    Curate content Learning Experience (LXP)

    • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices;
    • Connects Sales communities and aligns with and guides the work of internal experts who help to curate all relevant content continually to keep the Learning Experience platform relevant;
    • Build expert teams and promotes knowledge sharing and on the job learning opportunities;
    • Vendor management for specific Sales programs/content.

    Monitor & evaluate effectiveness of learning experiences offered

    • Monitor and evaluate learning program’s and initiatives effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them;
    • Tracks and manage training budget.

    Make learning visible

    Use success stories to brand our employee engagement.

     

    Skills Requirement

     

    Core

    • Strong learning thought leadership in working with Sales and cross functional teams internally and externally;
    • Demonstrate a knowledge base in learning, educational methods and e-learning;
    • Ability to provide a trusted voice at the executive and decision making table and be an advocate of SoftwareONE's vision and value proposition;
    • Recognize business trends and translate it into meaningful learning activities in the organization.

     

    Job Specific

    • Creativity and innovation;
    • Analytical and problem-solving ability;
    • Experienced in dealing with large organizations key executive teams;
    • Proven work experience as a training manager;
    • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs;
    • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, virtual instructor led workshop sessions etc);
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
    • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.

    What we need to see from you

     

    • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience required
    • Proven experience in learning & development domain
    • Relevant experience with designing, creating learning material and delivering training programs
    • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
    • Experience with e-learning and social learning
    • Experience with IT industry
    • Relevant University Degree in Social Sciences, Business or equivalent certification.
