  • Overview

    Running large SPM managed services engagements and once-off SPM projects of complex nature. Supporting and coordinating Associates activities, while supporting Snr Consultant in the execution of consultancy design and implementation activities


    • Small and mid-size project teams
    • Project coordination & collaboration amongst the team
    • Effectively levering, educating lower skilled personnel in large projects
    • Ensure successful delivery of larger engagements with medium complexity based on best practices
    • Right sizing & customization of non-standardized services
    • Demonstrate leadership for consulting services across Delivery Functions (Plan, Build, Run)
    • Frequently produces content for the service community internally and externally (community, blogs, whitepapers, ...)
    • Possess foundational working knowledge of general principles of IT Industry Standards (ITIL, Six Sigma)
    • Ability to lead engagement with efficient use of resources
    • Drive consultative selling activities within a customer environment
    • Advanced Project Management experience
    • Advanced Consulting skills
    • Customer business process analysis and understanding
    • Advanced business writing skills for customer deliverables
    • Customer solution presentation for complex solution designs (Ability to articulate the business value on complex solutions)
    • Identify and allocation of correct skill requirements and effectively work cross vertical
    • Presales support (Articulating service value in the sales process) / Up and cross sell capability
    • Interview skills
    • Technology basic skills regarding system platforms (MS & Oracle), client & server and midrange environment
    • Contribute to knowledge sharing within a community (e.g. team, practice, or project).
    • Re-uses existing Knowledge Management to accelerate solutions delivery


    Job Specific
    • Managing of small Software Procurement consulting / Managed Services engagements
    • Participates as a team member in mid-size / large complex Software Procurement consulting / Managed Services engagements
    • Participate in service improvement and development activities in their field of expertise (Managed Service, Procurement e.g.)
    • Provides training support to lower level team members
    • Involved in pre-sales activities and drives cross and up selling opportunities out of existing projects.
    • Closely collaborates with other Service Verticals and the support of Service BDM's in pre-sales activities
    • Initiate and complete software license contract renewals for tier 1 Publishers
    • Skills in business process analysis and optimization
    • Strong consultative commercial acumen


    • Required - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (economy or IT)
    • Working experience in Software License Sourcing or Software Asset Management (SAM)
    • Experience in IT consulting or software sales experience is a plus
    • Intermediate knowledge of software and licensing contract terminology
    • Experience in the area of services outsourcing (as customer and/or provider)
    • 3 to 5 years relevant experience
