  • Overview

    A Project Manager within our vertical Service Delivery division will be responsible for supporting customer engagements, ensuring projects to meet scope, timeline & milestones, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing projects aligned to the SoftwareONE Delivery Methodology.


    The Project Manager will lead and support the project team. (The project team may consist of i.e. Architects, Technical Consultants, analysts, SAM specialists etc.) In addition, responsible for managing corporate, customer and third party vendor efforts to plan and implement SoftwareONE solutions.


    • Responsible for managing small to medium size assigned customer project, supporting delivery lead in customers engagements for SoftwareONE
    • Meets or exceeds approved budgets by providing reliable financial forecasts to Management and update management on project progress
    • Identifies and develops new opportunities within current project supporting early qualification and opportunity assessment
    • Provides training to others and assist them with their professional development
    • Achieving operational objectives by contributing information and preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems
    • The Project Manager has a 90% chargeability objective, (80% external projects, and 10% internal projects) with the remaining time to be spent on training and personal development in role and within SoftwareONE
    • Responsible for directly managing 5 projects within a service practice with reasonable client deadlines
    • Manages first level to mid-level client delivery relationships and resolves conflicts
    • Manages knowledge sharing within a community (e.g. team, practice, or project)
    • Ensures team members support knowledge sharing and re-use requirements of project
    • Will work with Practice Project Managers in project risk management and delivery of projects
    • Track and manage project activities like: Schedule Management, Cost Management, Risk & Issues Management, Meeting Management and Change Management
    • Work with Business team on pre-sales activities and getting the scope finalized as required
    • Promoting pmONE services to practice leads/country managers when required
    • Participate in up-selling and pre-sales activities
    • Support project reporting activities


    • Experience of managing projects with office 365, core infrastructure, Azure or SAM
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
    • Experienced in working in a consulting environment
    • Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector
    • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software service industry
    • Highly motivated and results oriented
    • Excellent presentation skills as you will be required to present to customers
    • Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem
    • Holding a PMP/Prince 2 Practitioner certification. (If certification is not held, the candidate should qualify for the certification requirements and complete the certification by 1st year of employment.)
    • Average Experience of +3-5 years in a Project Management role
