    Working in a team environment, the business development representative is an inside sales position in Sweden working as a part of our Nordic team, responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with customers, software publishers, and partners. The person is responsible for providing sales quotations, clarifying licensing queries, sustaining and renewing client contracts, as well as systemically pursuing new customer opportunities. Together with the Business Development Managers (External sales), the Inside Sales Representative owns the customer relationships and ensures that SoftwareONE products and services consistently meet customer needs. This position is held in our office in Kista.



    • Develop and maintain exceptional consultative relationships with existing customers
    • Follow up quote creation, order processing and day-to-day customer and partner requests together with our global delivery center
    • Customer management and setup in ERP-system including opportunity creation
    • Develop strong knowledge of leading industry trends through on-going training with software publishers
    • Grow and maintain existing customer and partner relationships through pro-activity
    • Supports the sales effort and updates the database and communicates changes within the company
    • Collaboratively work with assigned Business Development Manager (outside sales rep) to develop an overall account plan to maximize opportunities and generate sales activity with customers and partners
    • Contribute to team effort by supporting all operations and sales initiatives
    • Travel might be required from time to time



    • Highly motivated and professional, with excellent verbal, communication and interpersonal skills
    • 1-3 years professional sales experience is preferred
    • Outstanding organizational skills with the attested ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines
    • Self-starter able to work independently, but also a contributing member of the team
    • Experience in software licensing and knowledge on the IT sector especially regarding key vendors as Microsoft, VMWare, IBM, Oracle, Citrix, Symantec and others
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with attention to detail
    • Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
    • Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems
    • Strong English and Swedish skills are required, any other language skills are of advantage, specifically other Nordic language skills
    • Knowledge of operational policies and procedures, customer service, developing and maintaining long-term business relationships
    • Proactive approach to demonstrate ownership of all duties and responsibilities, show initiative, exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
