  • Overview

    The Contracts Manager position is responsible for performing, directing, and managing a variety of contract related duties. The Contracts Manager supports the legal and business teams by: (i) defining and managing contract submission and review processes; (ii) monitoring contract review intake and delivery service level objectives; (iii) ensuring compliance with established standards; (iv) drafting and revising agreements in connection within acceptable parameters; (v) assisting and participating in contract negotiations; (vi) assisting in the design and implementation of contract management systems; and (vii) overseeing final approval and execution by all relevant stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee contract lifecycle, including submissions for review, signature routing, and storing of fully executed documents
    • Perform preliminary review of contract submissions to confirm they are made within acceptable parameters, and contain necessary company information
    • Coordinate review of contracts among all members of legal team
    • Manage communication and escalations between legal and business teams to ensure work is prioritized appropriately
    • Serve as liaison between legal and business teams to support operations, meet Service Level Objectives, and ensure confidentiality
    • Educate and assist business teams in complying with legal team processes and requirements
    • Manage signature process for approved contracts in accordance with company policies
    • Perform weekly compliance audits on storage of fully executed contracts
    • Ensure storage and retrieval of fully executed contracts is within company requirements
    • Assist with other legal projects as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree from four year college or university required
    • MBA or JD Strongly Preferred
    • 1-2 years of progressive experience in corporate law is preferred but not required
    • Proficient computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Smartsheet; Docusign and other contract management software preferred
    • Ability to manage high volume workload and maintain strict levels of confidentiality
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong customer service/relationship skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Excellent organization and problem solving abilities
    • Highly motivated and results orientated with an entrepreneurial spirit
    • Ability to work with employees across the company
    • Software industry and licensing knowledge preferred
