    The Wintel & Azure Engineer L3 position at SoftwareONE Gurgaon, India represents a key area in the organization’s ability to keep pace with the IT needs of Internal Users, Direct Customers, Partners and Strategic Publisher Partners. Software ONE and the additional global subsidiaries anticipate the need to manage hyper-growth for the next several years. IT infrastructure is considered one of the cornerstone areas for supporting this hyper-growth.

     

    SoftwareONE Business IT focusses on proven ITIL based processes. As part of a global IT organization, this 3rd level senior position is working in the Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement processes area. The position will combine these global standards with local subsidiary standards and be responsible to provide a top-notch service. Duties are such as run and optimize of IT services for the operative area; controlling and monitoring as well as making sure, the systems run as efficient as possible today and in the future. The position reports to the Team lead of the L3 team.

    Responsibilities

    • Excellent knowledge in managing Microsoft System Center Suite, including System Center Operation Manager (SCOM), System Center Orchestrator (SCORCH), and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
    • Support and maintain core infrastructure services Windows Services like Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, NPS/RADIUS etc.
    • Review, plan, release and deploy Windows and Application updates to the entire IT environment with SCCM
    • Support and manage the SCOM environment, create and maintain monitoring and notifications rules, install and update Management Packs
    • Support and manage core Office 365 services such as Azure AD Connect, Identity & Access Management (IAM) and resolve issues.
    • Help to keep IT infrastructure documentation up to date
    • Follow Incident, Request, Problem, Change, Access Management processes based on ITIL and our IT-service management tool
    • Ensure that all systems are backed up to meet the business’ RPO and RTO objectives
    • Troubleshoot and resolve service outages as they occur and follow up with after action reviews and root cause analysis
    • Profound and proven understanding of latest Windows Server Operating Systems 2012r2, 2016
    • Profound and in depth understanding of Active Directory Core Services, DNS, DHCP, NPS etc.
    • Perform administrative tasks from the Operation Manager console, provide application support for SCOM platform and create and maintain monitoring and notification rules.
    • Conduct regular capacity planning assessments of the Windows and Virtualization environments and provide recommendations to the Plan & Build teams
    • Improve service availability and performance by continuously fine tuning the systems, applying patches/updates, executing and monitoring maintenance jobs
    • Implement automation tasks with the use of Powershell scripts or with System Center Orchestrator
    • Assures the IT meets the Service Level Agreement and the operation of the IT infrastructure
    • Understand and operate within company policies and procedures
    • Deliver products and services to enable effective Identity and Access Management (IAM) throughout operations
    • Enforce compliance with IAM principals including: least privilege access, password management, Audit logging and tracking, RBAC, certificate management and AAA solutions.
    • Understand the Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS Identity Management ecosystem holistically and identify existing services and capabilities that may solve existing problems
    • Develop monitoring and reporting on the health, effectiveness and efficiency of IAM services

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience with System Center Configuration Manager
    • 7+ years of experience with System Center Operations Manager
    • 7+ years of experience with System Center Orchestrator
    • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and create customized and purpose built scripts
    • 5+ years of experience in creatin and implementing IaaS cloud solutions in Azure Platform
    • Good understanding of WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, IPSec, Virtual Networking, Subnet, Routing, Storage account/ management and Infrastructure as a Service IaaS Knowledge of Azure SaaS and PaaS services
    • Must have managed Microsoft SCCM deployments in a large-scale global environment; oversaw deployments of large and complex applications targeted for mass audience.Monitor and measure system performance and resources, and if needed, make certain suggestions for optimal capacity and availability for the business IT infrastructure
    • Must have experience to support & manage Cloud Services on both Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
    • Must have experience to support & manage Microsoft Office 365
    • Must have understanding of on-premise and cloud security strategies and principles
    • Must have understanding of cloud migration and transitioning strategies
    • Must have sound knowledge on Azure AD and Azure AD Connect and cross premises connectivity
    • Profound and proven understanding of latest Windows Server Operating Systems
    • Profound and in depth understanding of Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, NPS etc.
    • Profound and in depth understanding of Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect
    • Experienced in process automation and automation of daily tasks
    • Experienced with ADFS and other single sign-on technologies
    • Sound understanding of Enterprise and Cloud security concepts
    • Familiarity with Networking, Firewall and Hybrid Cloud concepts is a plus
    • Good command in English, further foreign languages are a plus
    • Ability to work in an international Corp. IT environment
    • Participate in a 24x7 on-call duty rotation, willing to work in shifts

     

    Certifications

    • Up-to-date MCSE: Cloud and Platform Infrastructure certification
    • Administering and Deploying System Centre 2012 Configuration Manager

    Amazon AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Amazon AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
