  • Overview

    Role Summary:

    The Digital Workspace focused senior consultant is a lead role as part of a North America Technology Services team with comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of business use cases, technical concepts, practices and procedures related to end user computing environments.


    This role, will be the primary technical lead for the architecture principles, design concepts, standards, product selection and thought leadership for the rest of the future workplace practice regarding end user computing concepts. The role will focus on customer use cases for deploying; Enterprise Mobility Solutions (EMM + MDM), End user data solutions (enterprise file sharing), Server based desktop computing (RDS + VDI), Identity Management (SSO), End User Security, Windows Image Deployment and management.


    Roles & Responsibilities:


    • Analyze business and user requirements
    • Translate complex user and requirements into functional architecture
    • In depth user consulting and analysis
    • Creation of deep technical design
    • Creation, maintenance and uptake of template documents, architecture and standards
    • Handover of repeatable processes to managed service teams
    • Support Sales with technical design for bid and pre sales
    • Build, deploy and configure technical products
    • Create and perform end user training
    • Create and perform technical administrator training
    • Build, deploy and support complex customer deliverables
    • Project ownership


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    • University degree preferred (in the field of Information Technology and/or or equivalent combination of experience and education; Master’s degree preferred).
    • 5+ years or equivalent experience designing products and services in the end user computing space.
    • 5+ years or equivalent experience in consulting or managed services.
    • Documented successful deployments of enterprise-wide advanced end user computing and mobility solutions, including rollouts of at least 2,000 Windows endpoints.
    • Advanced-level Technical Certifications required.
    • Ability to independently conduct meetings with, end user level, engineering-level, management-level or executive level customer personnel in regard to positioning sales and solutions.
