    Working in a team environment, the SAM consultant is responsible for developing new SAM Business as well as maintaining and support existing business. The SAM Consultant is in charge of the local SAM Team following the guidance of the Global SAM Framework. The SAM Consultant is responsible of maintaining the relationship between the sales team and the SAM team developing the go to business strategy and sales execution for the SAM Services. The person will work closely with the sales team and be in charge of the local sales execution of SAM. The SAM Consultant is responsible with engaging key customers on a daily/weekly basis to ensure they are properly served.

     

    The SAM Consultant is also responsible of further developing the internal SAM team based on the global SAM strategy. The SAM Consultant is also in charge of supporting some of the key accounts and perform some SAM tasks such as training, inventory or license compliancy checks.

    Responsibilities

    Key Focus and Objective for Role:

    • Sales execution of SAM
    • Developing the local business
    • Maintaining the SAM budget and profitability
    • Analyzing the market needs and define the go to market strategy within the Global SAM Framework
    • Negotiating and handling of SAM agreements
    • Performing an inventory of software
    • Running or creating customized reports and analyzing customers environments
    • Engaging with customers on a weekly basis and helping them understand the current license situations
    • Being the key resource for Consultanting SAM locally in the country
    • Facilitating all communications, and reporting of customer transactions
    • Performing other duties as assigned by SoftwareONE SAM management
    • Coach and mentor developing the SAM Team

    Functional /Technical Competence:

    • Licensing advanced skills regarding system platforms (Microsoft, SAP, IBM & Oracle), client & server and midrange and large environment
    • Very good understanding of Microsoft’s Software Platform such as Windows Servers, Windows Operation Systems, Database, Desktop / Server Management.
    • Very good understanding of IT environments/infrastructure. Being able to install SAM solutions from remotely and on-site

      

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Consulting regarding customers SAM project needs
    • Direct customer contact
    • Executing SAM projects, rollout and transfer of a running system to the customer
    • Supporting and training internal SAM Consultants and customers
    • External technical and project coordination with customers and SAM tool providers
    • Management of SAM sales, SAM Team und SAM tool vendors
    • Analyzing and developing the local market

     

    Qualifications

    Essental

    • 5 - 9 years professional sales experience in licensing industry with successful software sales / software licensing experience is a must
    • Highly motivated and results oriented
    • Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
    • Very good problem solving and consultative skills required
    • Sales oriented personality required
    • Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Being able to travel within the country
