    Role:

    Working in a team environment, the Technical Services Leader will be responsible for providing technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. The role will be responsible for providing technical leadership and/or support in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. As a trusted advisor this person will create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to ensure customer satisfaction. The highly motivated individual will maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge.

     

    The role will provide account team support for highly complex projects/programs to include business and technical solutions for throughout the pre-sales process and the planning, design and support to ensure the solutions strategy and architecture align with business strategy. The Technical Services Leader will implement the solution or manage the (external) project teams delivering the implementation. 

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide expert guidance to enterprise customers, driving solution architecture, and ensuring solution strategy is optimally aligned with business strategy.
    • Ability to develop detailed project / program plans and work breakdown structures. Ability to develop Architecture Specification deliverables that map customer business requirements to solution / technologies.
    • Create and implement an optimal technology roadmap and select the right infrastructure and technology platform or product based on in-depth knowledge of one and broad knowledge of other technologies and/or alliance product landscape.
    • Lead Technical Architecture reviews in coordination with Architects to determine compliance with the agreed architecture.
    • Actively tries to understand the emerging business trends (financial, operational, technical and human) through interaction with clients and industry peers and is able to discuss them and provide inputs as and when required.
    • Anticipate customer’s needs, provide inputs for solutions, demonstrate industry understanding and provide inputs to customers on areas other than project work and build confidence with customer at higher levels to be treated as an advisor.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Highly motivated and results oriented
    • 10 years  + of relevant experience in architecting, designing and implementing complex IT solutions and customer interaction in a technical leadership role
    • Experience in designing and implementing Hybrid Cloud solution projects involving implementing Private/Hybrid Clouds and good knowledge on infrastructure areas involving Storage, Servers, Network etc., and broad knowledge in other areas of Cloud & Infrastructure
    • Expert knowledge in one and Advanced knowledge of at least three in the following technology areas
      • Core infrastructure, virtualization and systems
      • Cloud solutions (Public, Private, Hybrid)
      • Network and security
      • Information management
      • Unified Communications
      • Mobility and WAN
      • Identity Management
      • Data and BI
    • Owns and manages knowledge sharing within a community (e.g. team, practice, or project).
    • Ensures team members support knowledge sharing and re-use requirements of project.
    • Excellent presentation skills as you will be required to present to CxO customers and at conferences.
    • Demonstrated experience and expertise selling solutions to business decision-makers by reinforcing the value of the SoftwareONE Services to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities.
    • Experience in providing advanced technology advisory service.
    • Solid problem solving skills required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong business acumen.
    • Speaking fluently Dutch and English.
    • Experience and desire to work in a technology consulting environment.
