  • Overview

    As the Consultant – Managed Infrastructure for the Cloud Managed Services you will provide 24x7 deep technical troubleshooting for escalated issues that involve our customers most technically complex or sensitive support situations. You will operate under pressure to isolate problems which are directly affecting our customer systems.


    You will manage and direct the technical efforts and results of a team of Associates and Associate Consultants. You will work with the team to lead problem resolutions requiring extensive analysis, troubleshooting and escalation to application vendors as necessary.


    Your extensive skills will play an integral role in developing the team through quality reviews of tickets and customer interactions across the Cloud Managed Services channels of communication. You will mentor and train the team to help them resolve support cases.

    • Respond and analyze complex inquiries of technical and functional nature not in routine and require deviation from standard procedures
    • General IT infrastructure administration experience, support and troubleshooting within a legacy datacenter, private cloud or public cloud environment that provides enterprise mission critical services. This includes but not limited to WinTel/Linux servers, load balancers, firewalls, proxies, backups and storage systems
    • Experience of patch management processes leveraging Microsoft SCCM/WSUS or SolarWinds n-Central for both Production and Non-production environments
    • Expert use of MS Office Suite, and Microsoft CRM
    • Experience in using enterprise class infrastructure and application monitoring solutions
    • ITIL Foundation Level certified (minimum)

    Wintel Focus

    • Excellent level of knowledge of Windows Server 2003 - 2016 operating systems, roles and features
    • Excellent level of knowledge of Windows Active Directory, including group policy management
    • Good understanding of IIS support/admin
    • Excellent PowerShell scripting and authoring JSON ARM templates

    Linux Focus

    • Linux (preferably Red Hat or CentOS distributions), including web server applications such as Apache HTTPD, Tomcat, and shell scripting
    • Excellent experience with JBoss, Scripting, Apache and Tomcat


    Additional Requirement

    • Industry certified in Technology Services Practice area (Data Center)
    • Performed work within the relevant Practice area in a Managed Service capacity previously
    • Understands the implication of change though the implementation of technology to the business
    • Strong structural work methods, multitasking and time management skills
    • Excellent problem solving and assertive consultative skills
    • Experience working in ISO/IEC 20000 certified organization
