The Procurement Specialist in his role assist SoftwareOne’s Local Procurement and Sales Teams in providing Price quotes from publishers which are required by our end customers, and updating them in ERP System as per standards within SLA,hence Obtaining highly accurate data, ensuring better savings for organization. The team will be the gateway between SoftwareONE’s subsidiaries and Various Publishers and Suppliers. The Procurement Specialist will work in a team which is involved in a wide variety of tasks that will help grow the business and focus on efficiency, accuracy and speed of processing. The focus is global, with direct reporting to the Procurement Team Leader at GSDC and close collaboration with the Global Service Owner. The Procurement Specialists team is one of the Fastest growing units in SoftwareOne’s Global Service Delivery Center and currently looking for motivated and experienced employees to take the next step in its development as operational backbone for SoftwareOne’s strategy and vision towards Software Portfolio Management


  • Responsible for organizing quotes from publishers and suppliers.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with Publisher and distributors.
  • Responsible for negotiations with publisher and distributors.
  • Research to find all relevant information required to complete tasks.
  • Communicates in a timely and effective manner via emails, reports and reminders
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Supports requests from customers, partners, sales reps, and other operations team members
  • Responsible for supporting and fulfilling all procurement needs for team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by SoftwareONE management
  • Should be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while completing work within allocated time frames as individual contributor in the process.
  • Committed to applying best practices in everyday work.
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to meet procurement objectives.




  • Bachelor’s Degree from four year college or university
  • Excellent English written & verbal Skills
  • 0-3 years’ experience in software industry
  • Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Excellent Excel Skills
  • Solid problem solving, consultative and research skills
  • Ability to analyze information with attention to details.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to research multiple sources to find data.
  • General math skills, PC proficient, knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and ERP Systems
  • Reliable and desirable work ethic within a team environment
  • Proven ability to be hands on within a heavy workload environment
  • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.
  • Ability to multi-task and be well organized.
