Working in a team environment, the SAM Associate/Associate Consultant is responsible for managing customer’s licenses. The SAM Associate/Associate Consultant  will assist customers in understanding and controlling their software licensing entitlement, avoiding legal pitfalls related to licensing by leveraging industry best practices while expanding SoftwareONE’s licensing opportunities and building more-profitable, long term relationships with our customers.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities for the Role

  • On-going support of customer’s entitlement (all publishers)
  • Analyzing & consulting customer’s entitlements for multiple publishers
  • Importing licenses and agreements into the entitlement database/SAM tool.
  • Performing reconciliation analysis for different publishers
  • Matching software with licenses
  • Creating customized reports and comparison for cost savings
  • Creating recommendations on how to license, reconcile, re-harvest licensing entitlement
  • Analyze customer license contracts
  • SAM Tool Management for the customers ensuring upto date license entitlement and Compliance

Skills Required:


1-3 years professional experience in licensing industry with successful SAM Management / software licensing experience across publishers is a must

Understanding of different publisher licensing models

Copyright knowledge for software licensing

SAM Accreditation

1-3 years of experience with different SAM Tools like Snow, Flexera

Good in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
