The SAM Solution Specialist is responsible for achieving sales and revenue goals for SAM by developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with customers and partners. The SAM Solution Specialist is responsible for generating new SAM business.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive SAM sales individually and together with the sales team to generate SAM business opportunities
  • Effectively communicate and present the SoftwareONE value proposition to all levels of an organization
  • Develop, design and create proposals for SAM solutions based on customer needs
  • Support and train colleagues how to sell SAM
  • Assist sales with marketing related events, seminars, mailings and campaigns to increase SAM awareness
  • Perform high level customer presentations in front of larger audience
  • Manage the sales pipeline of SAM business
  • Create sales material within area of expertise
  • Work with virtual SoftwareONE teams such as central hubs around the globe
  • Build and maintain a solid network within key accounts (on various levels) and internally with sales and delivery organizations

Qualifications

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in the IT industry
  • 5+ years of experience within Software Asset Management, preferably in services and solutions selling
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in direct sales model as well as business and strategy planning
  • Ability to drive results and multiple large opportunities at different sales stages in a fast-paced matrix organization
  • Solid understanding of IT environments/infrastructure; ability to explain how SAM solves customer issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Strong negotiation, problem solving and presentation skills
  • Team player with a high degree of self-motivation and results orientation
  • Used to working independently in an organized and analytical manner with little supervision
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft agreements and licensing is an advantage
