Overview

SoftwareOne Inc. seeks a Customer Business Development Manager in New York, NY (and other locations as needed).

 

Working with a team to develop an overall territory account plan and maximize opportunities to generate sales activity with customers, partners and publishers. Identify prospects and new customers through strategic partners in assigned geographic regions. Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes and overcome objections to maximize opportunities. Train customers and partners regarding software publisher contracts and optimal usage of agreements.

 

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field plus 3 years professional sales experience in high-tech or service-related industries and 3 years of Solution selling experience with account and territory management. Alternatively, if individual holds Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Certification, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field plus 2 years professional sales experience in high-tech or service-related industries and 2 years of Solution selling experience with account and territory management. Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Requires travel to customer sites as needed.
