You will play a critical role in finding the optimal ways to shape and communicate the value of product and offerings to the world. What you’d be accountable for:

  • Create compelling thought leadership content in easily consumable formats to increase engagement, and lead funnel conversions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, services, cloud, and our executive team members to create and maintain editorial calendars, and oversee the creation of content.
  • Develop and manage the editorial calendar based on strategic goals, business priorities, launches and other events.
  • Innovate new messaging for the website, which is continually evolving to reflect new capabilities as well as changes in the marketplace.
  • Partner with Global Product Marketing, Global Digital Marketing and other coworkers in the Marketing Department to plan and execute content programs across channels to drive pipeline.
  • Work closely with SoftwareONE’s internal subject matter experts to understand the dynamics of the cloud ecosystem and extract key trends, topics and content themes that will help us engage our target audience.
  • Drive continuous innovation in evolving formats (white papers, ebooks, infographics, case studies, etc…) most effective at engaging our target audience.



  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of writing and editing experience, preferably in B2B with familiarity of AP style.
  • Demonstrable track record of defining and executing highly effective content marketing programs.
  • Metrics-driven, with a relentless focus on creating content to increase site visits, search rankings and ROI. Experience with developing KPIs, dashboards and benchmark reports to measure content engagement success.
  • Proven ability to translate brand personality and services/solutions/platforms capabilities into content assets that engage customers and increase lead generation/conversion rates.
  • An understanding of localization strategies, translation processes, etc.
  • Excellent storyteller, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Track record of production across at least more than one content type - long-form writing, slide presentations, video, and audio recordings
  • Experience in managing a variety of internal and external content producers to ensure their deliverables are clear in message, on-time, and on-budget
  • Working knowledge of a marketing automation platform such as Marketo or Hubspot
  • International and US travel about 15% of time. Ability to speak multiple languages a plus.
  • Able to multi-task and excel under intense deadline pressure in a rapidly changing environment.
