Working in a team environment, the Solution Specialist is responsible for driving Oracle sales and profit while enabling licensing and services sales.

  • Collaboratively works with Customer Business Development Managers (CBDM) and Business Development Representatives (BDR) to develop an overall account and territory plan to maximize opportunities and generate services business with customers
  • Drives Oracle sales and gross profit contribution on an allocated client portfolio
  • Teamwork with all SoftwareONE teams to increase sales and market penetration into the allocated portfolio of clients delivering best-in-class customer experience
  • Ensures local execution into the allocated portfolio of clients of the global Oracle business strategy to fit to local market expectations
  • Manages the Sales pipeline of the Oracle business team working with CBDM's and using SoftwareONE tools
  • Assists SoftwareONE teams across the globe on the Oracle partnership strategy
  • Provides strong vision and a deep understanding of the Oracle strategy and go-to-market to fit SoftwareONE growth and profit expectations within the allocated portfolio of clients


  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in successfully selling IT services and solutions, ideally in the Oracle ecosystem
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in direct sales model
  • Strong IT Industry business acumen
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented
  • Ability to drive results through remote teams in a fast-paced and matrix organization
  • Proven track record of consistently holding or exceeding goals using a consultative and solution selling approach
  • Working effectively within a virtual team, taking strategic direction from opportunity owners and considering inputs from team members
  • Proven strong negotiation and problem solving skills and experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
