Overview

Automation Specialist in SoftwareONE will be focused on the managing automation processes. Automation Specialist main focus will be to work closely with Global Service Delivery center service team members and team leaders to identify scope of automation within different services running within Global Service Delivery Center.

 

He is also responsible to organize and develop logical structure around automation processes in order to achieve optimized solution.

Responsibilities

 

  • Service/Process Automation:
  • Identifies opportunities and implements with his team new technologies and processes
  • Monitors and measures processes to identify ways to reduce escalations, decrease time requirements, and improve quality
  • Recommends corrective or preventive actions to assure or improve service quality, reliability and efficiency
  • Provides design input based on processes and assists with startup and development of new processes
  • Develops best practices and standardization in tooling and processing
  • Maintains close contact with key stakeholders on service road maps
  • Mentors and guides Service Designers and Business Process Reengineers
  • Familiarize the team with stakeholders needs and ensure the team address all relevant areas of care within their individual sphere of employment
  • Develop roadmap for automation project undertaken

Qualifications

  • 4 years or more of practical work experience in excel automation and windows tool development with appropriate proof of success in an equivalent role
  • Knowledge of programming language C++, C Sharp, VBA, PowerShell and Java
  • Having strong technical skills, business intelligence, and a full understanding of the needs of the customer
  • Being able to effectively communicate with internal teams to deliver GUI, interface and screen designs
  • Being an interface between technology teams, support teams, and business units
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Good problem solving abilities and detail-oriented
  • Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment
