Work description Working in a sales team, you as a Solution Sales - Technology Services (“Solution Sales”) will create and drive opportunities and momentum across our customers. You have a self-starter mindset and thrive on engaging and talking to all levels of customer stakeholders from business through to technical. As our business grows and changes so rapidly, focus on strong business management will be a critical part of the role, including planning, forecasting, revenue achievement and customer satisfaction. As Solution Sales you will be responsible to accelerate the technical sales cycle by understanding the customer requirements. By using your deep technical expertise in the core domain, as well in adjacent technologies, you will secure technical closure.

  • Own, manage and interpret customer requirements - speak with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs while acquiring a deep understanding of the environment and the challenges they face.

  • Create solutions that address the customer pain points and present them to CXO level.

  • Actively understands the emerging business trends (financial, operational, technical and human) through interaction with clients and industry peers and is able to discuss them and provide opinions as and when required.

  • Conduct internal transition from Sales to Delivery team for successful project delivery.

  • Provide input to target Account Business Plans to align SoftwareONE Technology Services.

  • Provide thought leadership in highly complex projects/programs throughout the pre-sales and initial planning process.


  • Must have Solutions and/or Services sales experience and high level technical understanding of the complexity of consuming cloud based services.
  • Large vendor sales or channel experience, working with or for large cloud vendors such as Microsoft, Google, IBM, Oracle and Amazon Web Services. The ‘cloud market’ exposure and understanding is critical in this role.
  • Proven experience and a solid demonstrated senior contact base in the enterprise sector.
  • Strong technical background in Microsoft technologies such as Hyper-V, Windows Server, SQL as well as Network and communication protocols: VPN, WAN, MPLS, SSL, IPSEC, IP.
  • Excellent presentation skills; white board sessions, technical presentations and demonstrations, as you will be required to present to customers and at conferences.
  • A history of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience/familiarity with the offshore consulting/support model.
  • Strong Swedish and English language skills are required, any other language skills, specifically Nordic language skills are of advantage.
